700 Sites

AkzoNobel appointed Harkess-Ord to technically develop and roll-out their new brand identity across over 700 sites globally.

Working closely with AkzoNobel’s design team and branding agency, we developed an initial fast-track signage system for their launch and began a full survey schedule to establish accurate live site requirements.

Our engineering team then commenced product development for signage to enhance the 3D language of the logo.  Using a wide range of moulding techniques combined with the latest AkzoNobel paint technology we created an integrated signage system that reflected their brand personality.

With the information from the site surveys, we developed a brand application design scheme for each site.  This process was made very efficient through using our own tailored brand implementation database system.
The same system was then used to manage multiple stakeholder approvals as well as conduct a global procurement and supplier selection process so that the global roll-out could commence.
