Statoil, Norway’s largest corporation, appointed Harkess-Ord to translate and implement their new corporate identity across their global network of offices and facilities.

The challenge of the re-branding program was to develop a solution which authentically reflected their shift from a traditional oil company to a progressive energy business, while also communicating their Nordic heritage and positive relationship with the environment.

An innovative brand signage system was developed using high technology materials, the latest energy efficient lighting systems and a new technique for embedding high resolution images in glass panels. Harkess-Ord developed and engineered the branding concepts, managed the manufacturing and installation of all elements, ensuring quality control and brand compliance.

Harkess-Ord has since implemented the external and internal branding systems across all Statoil land assets and continue to work with Statoil in developing the branding and signage systems for their oil rigs and tank farms. We also applied new technologies and materials to deliver an innovative environmental work place branded experience for employees, customers and visitors across their international network.
